Heaven’s Kitchen Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for considering the opportunities to volunteer for Heaven’s Kitchen. During the upcoming summer months, we expect to distribute several thousand meals a week to our friends and neighbors in the Greater Derry area so we can use your time and talents.
Below is a list of key volunteer roles along with a brief description of the tasks for each and the time needed to help with your decision-making process.

Saint Anne Parish Charitable Outreach attempts to provide assistance to individuals and families that are going through difficult times. There are four principal legs of this ministry:
the St Anne Food Pantry, St Anne Financial Assistance, Heaven's Kitchen, and the Victory Garden.
All four branches of St Anne Parish Charitable Outreach are aimed at providing emergency, short-term assistance, to members of the local area. A sample of the assistance, depending on the circumstances, may include:
Food Pantry: food, canned products, fresh produce, frozen meats, and toiletries and holiday baskets;
Financial Assistance: emergency support for utilities, oil, gas, propane, prescriptions
Heaven's Kitchen: warm and/or cold meals;
Victory Garden: an opportunity to grow fresh vegetable;
If you, or if you know someone who is in need of this type of emergency, short term assistance, please contact Jim Carey at 603-339-3731 or send an email to: [email protected]
