The Knights of Columbus is one of the largest charitable organizations in the world . Founded in March 1882 in Saint Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut, the Knights of Columbus organization has grown from 32 members to almost two million members and is world wide today. The Knights have supported priests, parishes, communities and have enhanced the quality of life to their families by bringing the light of God to strengthen their spiritual faith. The Knights have raised millions of dollars over the years to help the homeless, poor, destitute and the elderly. They have taken up a special cause to help support the handicapped and are one of the biggest supporters of the Special Olympics.
Like St. Mary’s in Connecticut, The Saint Maximilian Kolbe Council was founded in the cellar of St. Anne's church 26 years ago. Today we have a growing membership, raising thousands of dollars a year to support our charitable causes.
The Knights are involved in all our ministries and all aspects of our weekend Masses from making coffee to singing in the choir. Even if you give just a few hours of your time during the year, we would love to have you join us. Applications are available at the back of the church or downstairs in the church hall on the Knights bulletin board.
