“May their souls and the soul of all the faithfully departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.”
+
Each year the parish community of Saint Anne joins the universal church in observing All Souls Day. It has become our tradition to specifically remember, by name, the souls of all those whose funerals took place
here in church at Saint Anne, as we continue to commended them unto God in our prayer, and remember them in our All Souls Day observance.
This year has been like no other. Covid not only forced us to be separated from each other, it forced the moments we gather to honor our loved ones with a funeral Mass to be limited at best and in many cases to take place at the funeral home and not in the church.
This year we again want to honor all those we’ve commended unto God since last All Souls Day, November 2, 2019. Regardless of where the funeral took place, we invite you to email their name and date of death to Maureen at mjohnson@saintannechurchnh.org.
Most of us will only share the All Souls Day Mass, on November 2, at 6:30PM from home via live-steam. You can help us still remember them by name.
We hope you will join us via live-stream. Some of you may be able to join us in person. Please remember all Covid precautions will remain in place regarding numbers in attendance, facecoverings and social distancing. Let us together pray for all the souls of the faithfully departed, that through the mercy of God, they may rest in His eternal peace.
With our continued prayers,
Fr Marc and the parish community of Saint Anne.
